Practice
Larry Enfield is a partner with the firm where he has practised corporate and commercial law, estate planning and administration and commercial and residential estate since 1977. His commercial clients cover the range from significant Canadian business to individuals just starting out. Larry provides estate planning advice and implementation to individuals with sophisticated requirements as well to those of more modest means and he is consulted in that regard by a major accounting firm. He has an interest as well in non-profit organizations and charities, advises a number of such organizations and is an active board member of others.
Professional Involvement
For over fifteen years, Larry was an Instructor in the Estate Section of the Ontario Bar Admission Course. Currently he contributes each year to the development of the estate portion of the Law Society’s licensing examination. He has been a speaker and panelist at programs in the Canadian Bar Association and Law Society of Upper Canada regarding unincorporated associations and procedures relating to the administration of non-profit corporations and has given presentations to the Ontario Non-Profit Housing Association regarding the non-profit corporation statuses.
He is an active volunteer and board member in charitable, church and community organizations, including a non-profit housing organization and a provider of neighbourhood support services, both in east Toronto.

GORDON E. WOOD

Practice
Gordon is a senior litigation counsel, conducting a trial and appellate practice in the fields of corporate/commercial litigation, employment law, professional liability, estate litigation and family law. He has appeared as counsel at every level of court in the Province of Ontario, and in the Supreme Court of Canada.
He has extensive experience in mediation and arbitration.
Gordon is dedicated to bringing a practical, results oriented approach to disputes. He is ever mindful of the need for proportionality between the value or importance of the matter at issue and the cost to be incurred to achieve a desired outcome.
Professional Involvement
Gordon is a member of the Advocates Society. He has participated in legal conferences and published articles on a number of litigation subjects. He is a past contributing editor to the Canadian Encyclopedic Digest and Carswell’s Practice Cases.
